Head of
“Brit Yosef Yitzchak”
I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the seven Britot that you have done here in Berlin, Germany.
You cannot imagine what a great Mitzvah this has been, that precisely in the place where Hitler started his evil plot to destroy the Jewish nation, we have performed Britot-Milah, to show that the Jewish nation, to the dismay of our haters, will keep going. This is the best revenge and the best evidence that the Jewish nation is still alive.
Every way that you helped us to do the Britot was amazing. You did all the procedures quickly, and we really felt that you were very happy to help.
The Mohel that you sent, Rabbi Chaim Rubin, was an excellent Mohel in every way. He performed the Britot very proficiently, and succeeded in calming the worrying families. He has made a very good name for himself in the community.
I am aware that all the organizing and the airfare have cost plenty of money, and I would like to thank you for helping in spite of this. These are people who have just left the Soviet Union and have a difficult financial situation.
Those who underwent the Brit Milah have started taking more interest in Judaism; there is substantial difference in their feelings towards Yiddishkeit.
I would like to wish you many blessings, and may you succeed in entering thousands more into the covenant of Avraham Avinu; may all your prayers be answered. May all the great actions you are doing speed up the coming of the Mashiach.
Sincerely,
Rabbi Yehuda Elikim Teichtel
Berlin, Germany
