To:
The organization “Brit Yosef Yitzchak”
And Rabbi Yaron Amit the founder
I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for opening a center for Brit Milah in Almaty, the capital of Kazakhstan. You have had the great success of entering 67 Jews into the covenant of Avraham Avinu.
As you know, the city of Almaty was a city of exile where many Jews were sent for the “crime” of studying the Torah. Amongst them was the father of the ???, Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Schneerson, who was tortured until he passed away and was buried in this city.
It was very emotional to witness a 68 year old Jew who was born in the first years of communism, finally entered into the covenant of Avraham Avinu Alav Hashalom, thanks to the center that opened in this country. I am certain that your important work brings peace to ????.
May your work help bring Mashiach, and bring good news and consolation to our nation that is dispersed through out the world.
With blessings and may you have success in your holy work,
Yeshaya Elazar Cohen
Chief Rabbi of Kazakhstan
